A Request Timing Review, 23rd April
The traffic lights in North Street are still out of sync (2 weeks at least) I noticed this just before going on holiday and mentioned it to an X4 bus driver. Clearly dangerous and needing repair asap.

Deep pot hole in main run of road, not at edge. Caused damage to car wheel, 21st April
Deep large pot hole in east bound side road, just around speed limit change from 40mph to national speed limit. Unable to take photos as was middle of night, big enough to cause damage to vehicle on Sunday 21st April 2024, and very load bang from impact at 35mph. Was avoiding pot holes at road edge and this was more towards main lane about 1 metre from edge. No markings visible to show the pot hole in the dark.

Outside 12 North Street Oundle next to the Water Cover is a broken paving slab with some depth. I have tripped on this this morning drenching my leg in the process as the hole is hidden and full of water. The slab need urgent attention or the hole filling in.

Drainage gulley at edge of footpath is overgrown & obstructed, 4th April
Starting at 2A Glapthorn rd Oundle & going to junction with New Rd & beyond the vital drainage gulley at the edge of the tarmac footway & the grass verge is overgrown & obstructed in many places & so preventing drainage with risk of water going over the footway.
It needs clearing & should be checked at least annually

Spillage of plastic - see details below, 3rd April
This report is being passed by Cambridgeshire Highways. Raised to CCC by Tom Pursglove MP <tom.pursglove.mp@parliament.uk> on behalf of a constituent. Please inspect and report back to Tom Pursglove MP on your actions. I will inform that passed to correct Highways Authority for action. All the best. Jon Munslow Assistant Director Highways Maintenance Cambridgeshire County Council - Text below is the report from the constituent. ' During my commute today it was clear that an apparent spillage has occured along the A605 from Thrapston area to around Oundle. There is what appears to be green plastic debris of below ~5mm in size present in the drainage area central reservation and particularly obvious at entrances to roundabouts. This plastic (suspected) is making its way into the drainage systems and continuing to become smaller as vehicles are traveling over it. It seems this would be a Spillage from a vehicle/industrial transportation of some size given the amount visually present for such distance (8miles). This may warrant investigation for inappropriate carriage of goods. Please see photos taken for reference but understand this is over significant distance and does not show the full extent at roundabouts. It seems this is an environmental issue plastic contamination, or some other if chemical to local water courses. Thank you for your ongoing work to maintain our roads! '
