FIXMYSTREET IN PE7 1NE
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of PE7 1NE:
Abandoned caravan, 17th April
This caravan has been here for a few weeks now and it’s on my driveway and I’m unable to park ! It has been dumped and I’m unaware where from. Three doors up there is a caravan that’s being used but a lot of beer cans are being thrown on my property too which I’m really annoyed with. I’m also aware at night a few males stand near the caravan smoking weed which the smell travels into my house and I have a young daughter at the age of 9 and I have been told that they deal it too from another resident that lives near by ! This is situated at the back of my property

Advertising car constantly left on green space, 31st August
Over the last few months this car has been left on green space on Eastrea Road. Is it now acceptable to drive on this area where I've taken my child to play? It's unsightly and, I hope, illegally parked.

Overgrown trees causing damage, 14th May
Dear sir or madam
I'm writing to complain about the two trees that are under your responsibility. The trees have never been chopped back in 5 years of us living here , and as a result, they are overhanging into our driveway. The trees have caused significant damage to my car's paintwork by dropping leaves and sap, and the branches have blocked my drain holes, causing my car to be filled with water during heavy rainfall. The water has caused corrosion to the car and damage to the electrics, which is a significant expense to repair.
One of the trees' roots has damaged our drains and our neighbour's, and it has also caused a wall to start collapsing, which is in the curtilage of our Grade 2 listed building. We are concerned that the trees may cause further damage if they are not dealt with promptly.
Both trees are overhanging our property, and since we have a thatched reed roof, the shade from the trees is causing the roof to accumulate moss. It would be best if the trees can be chopped back to avoid any further problems. We do not want either of the trees overhanging into our property. We would like to park our cars on the drive without them getting covered in leaves or bird poo.
Please take prompt action to address these issues and ensure that the trees are appropriately maintained to prevent any further damage to our property.
Sincerely, Victoria parker 40 Whitmore Street, Whittlesey pe7 1he

Overgrown grass verges, 28th May
It is impossible to see traffic coming from Thorney to Whittlesey when turning right towards Whittlesey from North Bank (near the Dog in a Doublet) as it is obscured by badly overgrown grass verges on the left hand side of the road (towards Thorney). This is very dangerous and I’m surprised there haven’t been accidents there already. The grass need cutting down as a matter of urgency.
