Restrictions to Public Rights of Way, 24th May
Along the area of the Beach stretching from the Sailing club at Snettisham, to the concrete dam at the Snettisham/Heacham border, the RSPB have roped off approximately 8 large areas of the public beach. This beach is for the Public to use, and the RSPB has no authority over it, and certainly no right to restrict access to any part of the public beach. Furthermore, they have erected once again approximately 8 signs, with the words ...Dogs on Lead..... Once again not only do they not have the right to put up these signs, this beach is for dog walkers, and there are not any restrictions regarding dogs having to be on leads. These all need to be removed immediately, if not we will find next year they will advance even more into our Rights of Way.
