Missing safety railing at top of embankment, 10th February
There are missing safety railings at the top of the embankment to sallowbush road. the hazard arises by the risk of someone slipping and falling from the top of the embankment pavement to sallowbush road and being hit by an incoming vehicle.
Recommend to install safety barriers behind the existing hedge from the overhead bridge leading to the school.
Risk assessment (high)
1.) danger of fall to pedestrians and cyclists from the top of the embankment. 2.) danger to motorists and cyclists using sallowbush road. 3.) additional measure of safety for children using the nearby education facility

No work taken place for two and a half years, 14th November
A1307 between Huntingdon and Godmanchester - roadworks have been abandoned, but the 40mph limit has stayed in place on a dual-carriageway. I have not seen a single worker doing anything for two and a half years. Is the plan to conveniently forget about it until the road is handed over to the county council?

A1307 jct 24, 40mph signs and "speed limit in force for safety reasons" at side of road., 1st November
A1307 jct 24, 40mph signs and "speed limit in force for safety reasons" signs abandoned on this stretch to jct 25 Signs have been there 3 years and are clearly now abandoned and incorrect. The limit is actually in place because of the council. Either fix the problem, remove the signs, or this will be done by the public.

40mph on A1307, 26th June
This complaint from 2021 was closed because the work would be completed in March 2022 and the temporary speed limit removed. Is that now not the case? Many thanks in advance:
. FixMyStreet ref: 2880947.
Dear Highways England - You kindly explained that the reason for the 40-mph limit on this section of the A1307 is that the central barrier needs upgrading for safety reasons, and that this is scheduled for March 2022. You also explained that your contractor will be amending the signage to explain that the 40-mph limit is 'for safety reasons'
