FIXMYSTREET IN PE22 7JD
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of PE22 7JD:
Bellmouth to Beeches Lane, B1183, 8th April
The site owned by Dyson Farming Ltd has grown significantly over the last 10 years. In 2013 the site employed 11 staff, today there are 122 staff employed on the site. This growth has meant a large increase in the number of vehicle movement on and off site. Where the Beeches Lane meets the B1183 has become an accident black spot and aside from the three images attached I have evidence of 8 more road traffic accidents over the last 9 years. Some changes signage and if possible a speed reduction would a sensible and proactive approach to reducing the likely hood of any future incidents. I would welcome a call or possible site visit see what measures could be available. Many thanks.

Pothole on road/cycleway problem, 26th March
The claimant was cycling along the Seven Mile Straight heading towards Cannister Lane. The claimant's bicycle went into a large pot hole resulting in the claimant falling from her bicycle and landing on her left side resulting in injury. Immediately following the claimant's accident, the council came out and filled in the pot hole, had the pot hole been filled prior to the claimant's accident, then the injury could have been prevented.

Whole of B1183 from new Bolingbroke to frithville, 1st March
Driving on this road on a daily basis too and from work is terrifying in both directions especially in the dark with no street lighting. There are large pot holes verges falling away and uneven surfaces. My car has had several repairs caused by this road and something needs doing as a matter of urgency. This is mostly a 60mph speed limit and the road is not fit for purpose.
