The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of PE13 4JX:
Public foothpath destroyed again by farmer, 12th April
Both public footpaths on the map running from South Eau Bank next to Redcap House and Shanandore have been destroyed by the farmer making it impossible to walk on. The road is extremely dangerous and has no pavement to walk on. The People living in the village use these paths to exercise their dogs, children and themselves. The path should be 2m at places as per law but farmers have ploughed over it again this year. Leaving 10cm that is going into a very steep drain. This has been reported to highways and the council last year and we were told this is not a priority and the issue was never resolved. These paths are everything for us and the law should be upheld by everyone. The farmers here do not care about the law or the people that live here. All they care about is maximising their profits. Our village is full of senior citizens, who try and keep active and along with their dogs, are unable to walk on the ploughed field as they risk sprained ankles or falling into the ditch. This has got to stop and we are pleading for your help.

Bend in road outside Bank House, 8th March
We have had 5 car accidents on this bend with everyone ending up[ in our garden. The last one on 26th March actually hit the house knocking down the corner of the house. The police said there should be safety barriers on this part of the road. People drive fast along the straight part and then cannot get around the bend in the road. In the last accident the driver was hurt can you arrange for safety barriers to be put in place or something to stop the vehicles ending up on our property before someone is killed?
