FIXMYSTREET IN PE13 2WX
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of PE13 2WX:
Nasty pothole and serious road deterioration, 10th April
This problem is near the back entry to a doctors surgery. There is a deep and wide pothold and the surrounding road surface is in urgent need of repair. I consider this among the most dangerous spots in our town. As one approaches the problem one is confroned with a unmanned traffic island and the road narrows. There is a busy car wash on the opposites side of the road to the doctors surgery and entry to a public car park. One regularly pedestrians attempting to cross the road to ente the surgery. I feel very vulnerable when navigating this crossing.

?? Attention Lineage Team & Community ??, 16th March
We’ve got a situation on our hands! It’s come to our attention that our parking strategy (or lack thereof) is causing a bit of a stir. Cars are ending up on the public footpath, making it tough for our pedestrian friends to get by. Not exactly the neighborly vibe we want to give off, right?
This isn’t just about the inconvenience; it’s about keeping our sidewalks safe and accessible for everyone. Plus, we all know it’s not the best look for us. We’re better than this!
We’re calling on management to step up and address this ASAP. We need some clear rules about where to park and maybe look into more parking options. It’s all about making our space welcoming and safe for everyone.
Let’s show our community the respect it deserves and fix this parking puzzle together. Thanks for listening and let’s make some positive changes!

Dead tree, 5th March
The tree is still standing but it looks dead and moves in the wind - if it falls it will either fall in to a main road, or on to a residential caravan, I have visited with the local council who says the tree is on the roadside of the boundary and looks dangerous - i was advised to report to highways. i do have a picture of the tree if it is needed to identify which one it is. It is on the end of the slip road coming into the site, about 20 meters before the road bends to the left. It has no budding and is tall and straight,

A47- litter, 20th February
Wisbech bypass. Loads of litter/debris littered along verges.
Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to know the exact date you last litter picked this road? I would guess it has been a number of years if ever. You have a duty under the environmental protection act to keep verges clear of litter. As indicated by the department for environmental, food & rural affairs, National Highways are responsible for the maintenance of the road and local authorities are responsible for litter clearance. You are currently massively failing in your duties. This is total neglect and you are ultimately breaking the law. The next steps will be court action and a litter Abatement order. I would like answers immediately and a strategy put in place moving forward so that this busy main road can be litter picked on a regular basis. How your environmental team can drive along this road and see the amount of litter everywhere and fail to do anything about this is a disgrace.
