The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of PH31 4AG:
Several holes over 10 inch dia. and 5inch deep +. Over the width of the road., 5th November
These holes have been badly repaired many times and the poor quality of workmanship means that the repair only lasts for a couple of weeks and is then as bad or worse again. The area has water flowing over the road and this needs some form of remedy in order to make any repair last. If this was carried out properly the road surface would last more than a few weeks as at present. It is on a tight bend and so suffers from ‘scrubbing’ fro tyres when anything larger than a car traverses the road and, as it is a single track road it is impossible to miss the large holes.
