2 Street Lights not working, 16th September
They are on the lane from dentist on Graig Na Gower Avenue to Morlich Place. There is no vehicle access, the lane is used a lot in the evening with dog walkers etc.

The steps at the south side of Milton Park have been overgrown and dangerous with nettles and other shrubbery this has been reported by phone to council and nothing done. Also when the grass gets cut it gets left and when wet can be dangerous, there are three of us here using sticks to get around what happens if we trip , do you get sued?

Roundabout Eyesore, 31st July
The mini-roundabout as you come into Aviemore at the Rothiemurchus end is an eyesore. It's the first thing visitors see and is an embarrassment in it's current state.

Street light out, 24th October
Street light behind Old Folks houses is out most of the time. Reference on Pole is MRY. Thre has been issues of kids annoying older tenants here, so is relevant at the moment

Blocked drain, 22nd July
On Old Meall Rd, just under the A9, as you head up into High Burnside, there is a drain which is blocked and requires cleaning. If this is left blocked then come the winter there will be problems with ice build up and the road will become unpassable.

The NCN 7 sign-post on the B970 just south of Inverdruie has been knocked at some point is leaning over and requires straightening.

Road surface/edge damaged, 24th May
The road between Inverdruie and Kingussie (B970) has been used extensively by heavy lorries (timber extraction and SSE Powerline removal) over the last few months and there are numerous areas where the verge/edge has been damaged and the road is showing signs of slipping into the adjacent fields. The damage is mostly on bends where lorries have had to run wide. There are also gullies/drains without any protection which poses a serious hazard to any road user having to avoid on-coming traffic. This road is part of the NCN7 and used by a large number of cyclists. This damage means the cyclist has to ride in the middle of the road to avoid the damaged sections putting themselves at risk.

Large Pothole, 8th December
A large pothole is developing in the road (B970) as you leave Inverdruie heading for Feshiebridge. The pothole is right in the path of cyclists and as this road is part of the National Cycle Network (NCN7)is frequently used by cyclists. Photos attached to show location and size in comparison to a 26" bicycle wheel, which incidentally suffered a broken spoke after hitting it.

Blocked drain in road, 15th October
The drain is completely blocked, this will become a considerable problem when the ice/snow comes as any thaw will cause water to run through the traffic calming narrows and subsequently re-freeze. As this is on a hill it will be very difficult for cars to negotiate if icy. Drain is just above the narrows on the left side of picture.

Abandoned Peugot Boxer Van, 30th June
A van has been sat here for 6 months with the front wheels removed. The van is registered as SORN. The property developer and agent responsible for grounds is unable to get details of ownership from the DVLA.n This van is unsightly and wuill be a risk to children playing in the area

Illegally parked caravan, 19th June
A black "caravan" has been parked in Corbett Place Aviemore for some months now. Not only is this not allowed under the terms of the deeds, but it is parked in a place which is a road around a mini roundabout. I don't know if it is abandoned but it is an eyesore and not allowed under the deeds.

The pavement between Milton Park and the Winking Owl, 9th March
The pavement between the points above is in a bad condition. I have to push my husbands wheelchair along this route on a daily basis and it is becoming increasingly difficult due to the potholes and rough surface.
