Council recently patched the manhole ( very badly) but failed to address the loose cover. This is causing a noise nuisance to residents. This has been getting steadily worse over the past few months. The, unsuitable heavy lorries for the roads, are constantly damaging the road surface.

Over grown shrubs and trees which scratch vehicles, 28th March
Over grown trees and bushes that haven't been cut back. If you meet bigger vehicles you end up with scratches down side of vehicle.

Very poor pothole fixes, 9th August
Multiple potholes have been repaired in hot conditions with zero signage over about a half mile distance. The tarmac is melting and the chippings very loose. I came across it in my car at national speed level and hammered my car with chippings. I’m also a motorcyclist and this would be extremely dangerous. Why no warning signs?

Erosion around manhole cover, 17th May
Due to the location of this defect, all vehicles drive over this, causing a noise nuisance !

Loose Manhole Cover, 17th September
The pot hole around this manhole has recently been repaired, however the cover is loose and when vehicles cross it a very loud thump is heard. If this is not repaired soon my fear is that it could fail and cause some serious damage.

Blocked drain, 23rd November
Water is pouring out of a gully trap cover in the carriageway & running down a steep section of the road, potentially causing wash-out of the verges.
This follows from the very heavy rain of last week, which has caused the sediment trap to fill with soil washed down from fields above.

Footbridge at risk, 7th August
The footbridge over Dunning Burn on the right of way that passes behind what used to be Burnside Garage (now demolished) is at risk of being undermined by the river when the water is high (as it was last night). When the contractors demolished the garage they broke the retaining wall immediately upstream of the bridge allowing the water through. If we have more rain like last night's, the west end of the bridge could collapse.

Road needs fixing real bad, 23rd December
I come from Dunning i came back for wee holliday and found that the road in 11 Kirk wynd had not been done in 40 years the drains are all blocked.If you need more information go and see my friend Myles Sneddon at 7 kirk wynd make me proud of of your council and of Scotland thanks for the chance to say this have great year .
