Deep pothole at end of drive,, 28th April
The pothole has been at the end of our drive for months, it is getting progressively wider and deeper every time it rains, and when vehicles drive over it, we are having problems trying to avoid the hole when ever we pull onto the drive. We are concerned our vehicles will get damaged.

Deep pothole, 20th April
The large rock (now on the side of the road as in the picture) was in the pothole and was dislodged by the car causing damage to the car and the rock ended up in the middle of the road. Due to the rock being in the hole, it was not visible and was dislodged when I pulled off after stopping to let a car pass.

Multiple pot holes, 9th April
As you enter the village there is multiple potholes at the bottom of the hill. It started as one pot hole which has now become 2/3 large potholes and it’s getting worse. It will damage a cars wheel if not seen to soon. It’s also becoming dangerous for bicycle riders, especially the children who live in the village who cycle on the road often. I can see this problem was reported a few months ago but has not been looked at to my knowledge. This will become a frequent problem if the drains are cleared out as during a heavy rain fall, water is slowly washing away the road and is causing these pot holes. All these problems have been reported in the past but sadly not acted on.

Drain not clearing water., 29th March
The drain on the corner of box tree lane and the next drain in box tree lane are not taking the water from the A40. This water ends up poring down box tree lane and flooding the village. The drains in box tree lane are taking all the water from the A40 and the system is not able to cope. This system needs up grading to a larger system to cope with the volume of water. As the name Postcombe suggests this village is a Combe, in a valley, so all surrounding water goes down box tree lane and through to Sydenham.
