Danger to children and environmental hazard, 27th April
10 rubble pile left by Cottsway housing for over six months. This has been reported on here three times now and numerous requests have been made by the public to Cottsway Housing and to environmental health. All requests seem to be ignored. Cottsway have recorded this as far back as mid December.
This is attracting rats and small children are playing on it. It only needs a rock to move and it could trap an arm or leg.
This has had a major impact on the quality of life for those living nearby. This is unacceptable.
Please for the third time, can you pass to the relevant authorities: Cottsway Housing and WODC environmental health and ask why they are ignoring repeated requests to clear this dangerous hazard?

This whole stretch of road is broken, 25th April
Reported multiple times - this whole length of road has become ridged and broken. impossible to drive more than 5mph. absolutely terrible surface and damaging to cars

Potholes, 23rd April
There are several potholes which have now become very deep. They are particularly dangerous when they are filled with rain water as one cannot tell that they are very deep with sharp edges. at one point the edge of the road on the southern side of the road is breaking away too

Previously rectified, but restrictive device never replaced when new light installed, 19th April
Note: This problem was previously rectified, but when new lighting was installed in village, the required part was never replaced.
This street light shines directly into the bedroom of the residents on this street, which has caused wellbeing and sleep issues for some time. Residents have attempted to use heavy curtains but to no avail. I would request a device be installed in the street light to restrict the light to the road only and not on to houses. These devices have been successfully installed throughout the village.

Extensive 10ft rubble pile, previously reported, 21st March
Extensive rubble pile, previously reported and closed on here, presumably in error as the pile is still here, with no action from Cottsway Housing.
It has now been left for 5 months, and ruined Christmas for those living near.
This is attracting rats and is making the neighbourhood look awful and affecting the lives of nearby residents.

As the Land drains have not been cleared since October 2022, water is pouring down the road, eroding the road surface and making its own way onto private land, next to the stream.

Drain blocked since December 2023 - Fall due to ICE, 12th March
This drain has been blocked for month. The water runs down the hill and I fell on the Ice in early January. This was reported to Cllr Leftman, Cllr Dean and Chairman of Parish Council. If the drain was cleared there wouldn't be a problem with ice on the road in wintery conditions.

Deep gully created at side of road by heavy vehicles, 14th February
As you drive up the hill there is a very deep gully that has been created by very heavy farm vehicles and lorries , this makes it dangerous and difficult if there are two vehicles trying to pass each other. There is nowhere to pull over to without causing damage to your car. It is a particular hazard to cyclists who often use this cycle route.

Broken Road. Road all cracked where road sweeper went over it yesterday. They have tried to put the pieces back in but that doesn’t solve the problem.
