Many potholes. Several of 70x40 cm close to Ragnalls House, 14th February

Church Lane needs complete resurfacing., 12th February
I walked with my daughter (who has fallen off her scooter due to this) and we counted 64 potholes on this 1/4 mile stretch of Church Lane. It has been like this for at least 2 years. This is unacceptable and dangerous to walkers, cyclists, children, and causes wheel and tyre damage to vehicles. This whole section of Church Lane needs to be completely resurfaced. The section up to Ventfield Farm is an example of what can be done: here the road is smooth and undamaged. Furthermore, drainage is being hindered by high, muddy verges, so the standing water exacerbates the problem. Drainage channels need to be cut out and strengthened with concrete to avoid overgrowing of vegetation. Approximately 20 homes exist here, each paying huge annual Council Tax bills of up to £4k. Please use our money to fix our road, properly.
