FIXMYSTREET IN OX29 9QH
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of OX29 9QH:
Grass cutting for Leafield Greens, 25th April
On the 17th April I inquired as to why the Leafield Greens hadn't been cut this year and received a reply stating that "VERGES" are to be cut once a year.
The areas I am referring to ARE NOT VERGES.
They are large areas of grass as you can see from the location indicator on the map which are used by families through the summer and the Leafield Primary School for out door teaching areas and sports.
This policy will prevent the village from using our Greens, please review this decision.
Thank you.

Speed humps are needing review, 26th March
The speed humps are too violent for the road conditions and speed limit. Please review them as they are so poorly maintained that drivers are having to go into the middle of the road to navigate over them and the edges are so harsh that cars lower to the ground than an MPV are scuffing. This causes a noise issue as well as damage to the vehicles, personally have to go 10mph over these as it stresses my wheelchair hoist and has smashed my arm hoist sleeve twice. I think it really needs reviewing to make it suitable for the road and the neighbours.

Numerous significant potholes and horrendous road surface, 2nd March
This straight stretch of road is a disgrace. Not only are there significant potholes but the road surface in general is totally unacceptable. You have to stop and allow oncoming cars to go past before pulling out around these craters. The road surface needs ripping up and resurfacing and at the same time ditching the road side in the dip where the water collects and floods the road causing further damage. Why are well used roads like this one ignored in favour of resurfacing significant sections of lesser used roads like the one through Chilson only recently. Someone needs to get out and see how bad this road is immediately and making it a priority to resurface straight away. It is totally unacceptable. Please place this job as a priority!!!!!!
