Curb/stone is loose, 7th May
Springfield Oval near blanket way but close to Oval bend ( outside no 30) a curb brick/stone is loose and 1/2 poking up . It’s not safe for other oncoming traffic . This is caused by traffic overrunning the curb . Also several neighbour have amended the grass to pebble stones/cement so grass is completely missing and this is NOT in keep with the area ??? Some of the new pebble stone/cement is coming loose too as the work was NEVER carried out by qualified workmen .!!

5cm potholes on Chestnut Close, 7th May
From the entrance of Vanner Road (from Farmers Close) to the bottom of Chestnut Close, the road is terrible. There are a lot of potholes, some of which are more than 40mm deep. Therefore, becoming hazardous to vehicle drivers through the car hitting them as well as attempting to avoid them by swerving around them.
Many of the residents of Chestnut Close have attempted to report this problem in the past years but you have not dealt with the problem!

Speed limit signs are covered, 7th May
There are 2 20 mph signs at the residential road crossing area for bishops farm mill, witan way, ox28 4DG that are now completely covered by overgrown tree’s. We are unable to cross safely and it’s a popular crossing for young children riding their bikes at the meadow..
Please could they be cleared or even better relocated closer to the pedestrian crossing area

This has been reported but this is now significantly bigger. Today there were large lumps of tarmac across the carriageway. This needs to be repaired and properly ASAP before there is a serious incident.

There is a large grassed area at the top of our road on a steep bank. This area borders onto a public footpath leading to a school. The grassed area has not been cut or maintained for several years and is so overgrown it is an eyesore and a hazard.

Overgrown hedge blocking path at Zebra Crossing, 1st May
The hedge on the east side of Hailey Road, Witney, at the Zebra Crossing between the junctions of Farmers Close and Eastfield is overgrown and causing a safety hazard for pedestrians (major school route) and mobility scooter users as they may be forced to step into the road. There is a similar problem with a hedge overgrowing the footpath at the Hailey Road junction end of Farmers Close on the north side close to the bend opposite the entrance towards Bakers Piece.

Gravel on wildlife area, 29th April
A resident has over the years parked on the grass creating a mud bath and put hardcore down to park on said mud bath. Now it has been gravelled (badly) this grass are does not belong to the property and looks awful
