This has been being reported for nearly a year and still nothing has been done, other than a few cones thrown down and marking it as ‘complete’ on FMS. This is still dangerous, unsightly, and no one has bothered to fix it properly. It is the same at the other end of Oxford Road by the turning space.

12 pot hole, 10th May
The pot hole is as you come in to the car park for Starbucks and travelodge it is about 12 inches long 8 wide and 5 deep people are swerving to miss coming into and leaving carpark

Series of potholes all deeper than 4 inches and > 10 inches diameter, 5th May
A series of potholes all covering a 5 yard radius has been there for months and months (over 6) and is a repeating issue. Prior fixes are inadequate if ever they happen. No route through without cars getting jostled. Council thought it so bad they even put a red warning traffic triangle sign (see picture). A child fell off their bike when bicycle hit pothole. Potholes flood too.

Road flooded, 11th April
The lane to Upton has been flooded for several weeks just beyond the turning off the western end of Sheep Street (almost opposite Burford cemetery.) It is a popular route for walkers but is now impassable unless you are wearing wellingtons.

Pothole at an exit from a roundabout, 3rd April
Very deep potholes are located at an entrance to a roundabout and exit from a hotel . The road is used very frequently and has caused several issues to multiple vehicles. The potholes are unavoidable and require the driver to brake harshly and manoeuvre whilst still on the A40 dual-carriageway roundabout, risking being rear-ended by vehicles driving fast around the roundabout....
