Large limb from dead tree fallen., 5th March
It is still partially attached to tree and has just been pushed to the side. However with large farm vehicles and or strong winds it is likely to be dislodged onto the road. It needs properly removing with a chainsaw to ensure it doesn’t pose a future risk to traffic or walkers regularly use this road

Fallen tree blocking key main road, 24th January
I nearly had an accident trying to avoid a large fallen tree partially blocking the carriageway travelling towards Standlake from Cote and had to avoid it but ended up swerving into the lane towards oncoming traffic. It’s not visible until You’re virtually on top of it and it’s a 60 mph road which makes it very dangerous. Needs clearing straight away before a serious accident oxcurs

OS 352018 Pillars on both sides southern end of bridge are displaced., 3rd November
The pillars will fall when next hit by a large vehicle following its satnav along the Great Brook Road. The Brook Road is currently flooded, although you won’t know till you reach the further western end of the road and hit the flood, as there is no signage at the eastern bridge end of the road. If you live in Chimney, and the bridge is impassable at the same time as increasingly frequent flooding of the road, you will not be able to access or leave your home. The same goes for the Shifford lo keepers and those who work at the BBOWT Reserve. The bridge pillars have been cracked and displaced for years, but are now really dangerous.
