Hard and sharp objects between m40 jct 10 and jct11, 23rd April
There was a very hard object on the road. Since the car was going very fast at the time (I was not speeding), I didn’t see what it was, but it was in the passing lane, so my left side ran over the obstacle and my front and rear wheels were punctured. The car was broken and the wheel was damaged. I was very scared at the time and the situation was very dangerous, but luckily I parked the car in the emergency lane and no one was injured. But my car was damaged and I called AA to have my vehicle towed back to my garage, which I was very angry about. Now I want to file a complaint. I hope you can help me solve this problem. I hope to investigate clearly what the road surface is. I have photos of my vehicle at the time, but because I don’t have a driving recorder, I don’t have pictures of the obstacles, but you It can be investigated from cameras or other means. Pothole where previously repaired., 14th April
This potholes, about 50m east of Lower Lodge, has obviously been recently repair with some sort of patch material which was not fit for purpose. A permanent repair is required to remove this danger to road users and the risk of damage to vehicles.
