Nettles and Keck over pavement, 13th May

Mon, 13 May 2024 09:39:14 +0100
51.997992 -1.480722

1.This foot path is being covered by nettles and keck, mothers with prams / pushchairs or elderly cannot get by without getting on the road. 2. It is also dangerous as visibility is bad for pulling out of the junction with a car. 3. If you have to get on the road there to pass the vegetation you’ll probably get knocked over by a vehicle!

OMG, this is the 2nd time OCC have said this sign has been cleared! It quite blatantly has not. This time, its even worse because as predicted, the hedge is in full leave now, and you can not see a thing. Why dont OCC check on these things? Are their contractors telling porkie pies saying this issue has been fixed, when they done NOTHING!

Damaged road/pavement, 1st May

Wed, 01 May 2024 11:53:28 +0100
51.998027 -1.479903

The damaged area is where The Green meets with Chapel Street and it is also a bus stop. There is no pavement left making it extremely difficult for pedestrians and for those people disembarking from the bus. The stone chips from The Green itself are rolling into the road and down the drain. The residents of The Green wish to resurface it with more stones but cannot do so until the road/pavement is repaired so that the problem is not exacerbated. No road repairs have been done to this area for at least 32 years.
