20 sign missing and another obscured, 15th April
Where the 20 zone on the A361 begins (southern end of South Newington), one of the 20 signs is missing completely and the other is obscured to traffic by foiliage. These has been the case almost since the signs were first installed - the 20 sign at first wasn't attached to the pole (left on ground nearby) and later disappeared.

Broken branch hanging in tree by A361. Per what 3 words the location is laptop.funky.selection., 2nd April
Firstly there is a broken branch that has been held up by other branches in the tree but could fall in to the A361. Potentially the whole tree might be near the end of its life as to date no evidence of buds when other tress in close proximity are coming in to leaf.

Large Pothole on outside line of vehicle wheel, 1st April
Started small about 3 weeks ago but recent heavy rains have removed a large amount of tarmac now. Getting much deeper daily and I have seen a number of cars stopped with flat tires shortly after this. The issue is made worse by directly opposite being a large depression in the road which cars cross over to avoid and so this pothole gets twice the traffic.

Huge pothole, 27th February
You closed the previous report on this Council ref: ENQ24994051 stating it was on the verge and didn't meet the criteria. Firstly someone (I assume local) has dug up the earth verge, put a large pile of earth in front of the pothole (so motorists can see it and avoid it) and filled the pothole in with earth. Probably the same person who put the cone there to alert traffic. There is also a large blue POLICE SLOW sign 20 m up the road - I assume that wasn't put there by the police or yourselves then if you consider the potholes there to be in the verge and not warranting a repair ? Personally I consider the verge to be where people walk, not the road surface itself which motorists need to use especially if having to position on the left hand side if someone is coming the other way. Have you now demoted all B roads to single track roads with anything outside of a cars width in the middle as being in the verge ? What if there are potholes both sides and you can't help hitting one or the other ? Absolute madness, do you think everyone outside of cycle city centre drives tractors that can traverse sinkholes. As I said in the previous report don't bother fixing it anyway as repairs only last 2 weeks.
