Flooding from Rainfall runoff from Ginge Road affecting No 4 & No 5 Goldbury Cottages, Ginge Road, West Hendred, 16th February
Myself and my neighbour at the adjoining property (Number 5 Goldbury Cottages, Ginge Road, West Hendred) and share a path down to our properties off Ginge Road in West Hendred.
We have been suffering for a number of years with flooding in the front gardens as a consequence of rainwater running down the road and over the dropped kerb at the exit from the highway.
This is now starting to get quite serious at times when the gardens can flood to above the damp course level and also approaching the lower front door level.
I have attached some photographs but it is clear to us that the kerbline may have settled over the years as it is lower than the road and that it requires either raising significantly (perhaps even no longer being a dropped kerb but a raised one) to alleviate road run-off running onto our properties.
I would be very grateful if you could please get in touch to discuss how the situation will be resolved. I have taken liberty of attaching some photos for you information.

Steps up off the road need replacing, 6th December
The steps up to the wicket gate have eroded and need to be rebuilt. it is quite steep from the road to the gate so a hazard and unsafe. (Previously reported in July under ENQ23969828 but the pin was put (my error) a few hundred yards from the correct position) Not sure why it takes 4 months to respond to my first problem. I hope you may be quicker this time!

Deep Pothole across half of road near Betterton Cottages, 23rd November
A very deep and wide pothole has been getting larger outside the front of Betterton Cottages - this impacts the vehicles of 6 residential properties. The pothole is so wide that it now covers half the width of the road and I do not have a photograph to add as the pothole is full of water given recent weather which would not illustrate the depth of it. Please investigate as soon as possible.
