I tripped and fell when a metal drainage grating collapsed under my foot this afternoon. Several were missing. This is not clear from the picture, which was captured from Google maps when I got home. However, I think one of them isn't seated properly in the Google map image that was taken in 2019! I am concerned that someone vulnerable is going to trip on the hazard and hurt themselves more seriously than I did!

Hedge outside my boundary wall, 26th April
A rampant huge ivy planted I presume planted by the builders, is now blocking the pathway and covering a maintenance ( electric?) grey box. Also last year there were lots of wasps around it, and a lot of children pass by to school. It also over into my garden! PLEASE HELP, the wasps were very scary. Thanks Linda Morgan

Road name obscured, 26th April
Grass verge in Foxhall Road and beginning of Roman Place not cut although all other parts of foxhall road have been done. Roman Place street name completely hidden by grass and weeds. Please action asap. Thanks

Flooding on road caused by blocked gully, 25th April
The parking space always becomes flooded after rains due to the build up of weeds and mud in the silver gully which runs to the drain on the corner. Issue has been long standing since at least December 2022 (when we moved onto the street)

Overgrown weeds/grass down alley way, 25th April
Alley way between mendip heights/gwp to Freeman road garages. Is very overgrown. Conserving children use this daily to walk to school. Full of stinging nettles taking over the path.

Overgrown grass, 25th April
Bearing in mind how little our verges are cut,I would have thought your contractors at the very least could do the job properly.Quite frankly there efforts outside my house are pathetic and they may as well not bothered.The grass is all different heights with some twice the length of other areas,which is to be expected as they were using a strimmer,which is ridiculous considering the size of the area.Hopefully the job will be done properly next time and we might start getting value for our council tax

Missing reflective bollards, 24th April
Two of the reflective bollards indicating a restrictive speed hump are missing. It is now possible to accidentally drive over this area where there are sharp edges from the missing bollards that could damage the tyres/wheels of a vehicle.

Area of pavement extremely uneven, 22nd April
The area of pavement outside 82 Mereland Road to the junction of the the Didcot leisure Centre is extremely uneven. This area is is difficult to navigate for those with physical disabilities, mobility aids and young children. It has been like this for some time and is getting worse.

Streeilights out, 20th April
On a recent call to Street Lighting I was told that you were aware that 5 lights were out in Green Close. I counted them last night and at least 8 are out - maybe more , hard to see as its very dark!
They have been designated as a "power supply issue" BUT they were a very recent installation and they all failed at the first time they were subjected to a power failure. This may be a coincidence but it seems much more likely that there was a problem with the initial wiring.
As you know, the problem is now 6 weeks old.
