Edge of road crumbling, disintergrating and dangerous, 6th April
I reported this problem a while ago and was advised it has been fixed - IT HAS NOT! Turning onto Hollantide Lane from Benson about 300 yards along on the left the edge of the road is crumbling away and disintegrating for about 15 feet. This is extremely dangerous especially when there is a car coming in the opposite direction. This road was NEVER designed/constructed to take the amount of traffic now using it and needs urgent remedial work.

Potholes and road disintegrated, 5th April
Hollandtide Lane. As you turn left into the lane from Benson there are several large potholes and road surface has disintegrated. Two of the potholes have had a shoddy repair but there’s still several potholes and road breaking up immediately next to them. A huge danger to motorists turning off of the main road (50mph) as you have to stop before turning left into Hollandtide and use the opposite side of the lane to get around the corner into oncoming traffic. An accident waiting to happen. Quite unbelievable that two of the holes had tarmac thrown into them whilst leaving the remaining potholes.

Pothole in the middle of the Mill Lane end of Benson footpath no.6, 4th April
This hole has been here for years. It isn't enormous but it is right in the middle of the path so is very inconvenient. The rest of this tarmaced path as far as St Helens Avenue isn't too bad. But the other side of St Helens Avenue the path really deteriorates towards the bridge over the brook where it changes direction slightly. On both sides of the bridge the path is very muddy and badly rutted so pushing a buggy or bike is difficult and not good for active travel aspirants. Please can you scrape off the weeds and put a better surface in place?

Large 5m long pothole on southbound side, 1st April
5m in length approx, about 1 metre wide and around 30cm deep this stretch of road has a significant potholing issue and is becoming dangerous. It's particularly bad for motorcycles as the poor surface generally pulls the bike about and to avoid some potholes you need to go to the offside in order to avoid, which is difficult when other vehicles are coming towards.
