FIXMYSTREET IN KW9 6QL
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of KW9 6QL:
Road damage, severe and dangerous, caused by water pipe renewal, 22nd July
The road surface has been damaged and fallen away to the seaward side of the road following the renewal of water pipes, which was essential work carried out over several months. But since the main part of the work has been completed we have been awaiting repair of the road over extensive parts of the road. There are areas where it is difficult to drive along the road as the damage on one side has caused vehicles to drive over unsurfaced parts of the road, resulting in potholes on that side of the road. In places the new, part completed, stretches of tarmac have been damaged because they are not level with the old road surface or the areas where no tarmac has yet been laid over the pipe works. This has resulted in unsatisfactory road surfaces and potential for vehicles to suffer damage as well as the road surface itself.
