Ungritted roads & pavements, 3rd January
We've had snow/ice for 3 weeks and the roads in my area have been in a disgusting state. On the rare occasion that the gritter does come, it is going so fast, the grit isn't landing where it's supposed to! The snow plough has been up a couple of times, but the plough is about a foot off the ground, therefore it's not doing any good. Also the pavements have been untreated, and are now covered in ice, it's like walking on a glazier!
