This is more than a pothole. Been reported several times and was marked out but nothing happened.

Abandoned vehicle, 10th September
This vehicle does not belong to any of the residence and has been left here for over 6 weeks now, it is parked in a restricted parking area and is causing traffic issues during the day, as the area has a large volume of heavy goods turning from the work site opposite. There is a sign saying broken due to key issues, but this has been here far to long now and can only assume it’s abandoned, there are also local residents that park here and cannot at the moment.

Continuous littering issue along with dog mess, 13th February
For the past few weeks I have been working on this street and have purchased a property on there. I am disgusted with the extent of littering along this street and frequent dog mess. I think it stems from takeaway and food outlets. Surely business owners have an interest and should take some pride by clearing up or encouraging their clientele to not drop litter. It is an absolute disgrace.

Dog fouling on pavement, 31st January
There are regular large amounts of dog poo left on the pavement for people to walk in! This happens directly outside the Boys office which is not good for business as it gives a bad impression, but also further up Todd Carr Road too. It is unhygienic.

Dog Poo!!, 22nd November
Dog poo all the way down the hill from the primary school to the crossing!! It’s a hazard for the children and parents as they have to avoid the path and step into the road!! Pram s cannot avoid it!

Problem emptying bins, 28th November
Residents of Victoria Mill have ongoing problem with bin emptying. We are going to make one of our dedicated car park spaces into bin only store but unfortunately because cars park on both sides of Victoria parade, often the bin lorry cannot gain access. Is there a possibility of designating the left hand side into a no parking zone, there is car parks in Waterfoot.

Speeding Traffic, 9th November
Many drivers travel at an excessive speed along Holmes Street. It is the only legal exit for many houses in the local area. It can be any time of day or night. There are young children who play out or live in the area and this traffic problem is an accident waiting to happen. Please put speed bumps or some form of calming measures on this street. Stacksteads seems to be forgotten about in many ways in my opinion

High pitched irregular noise, 2nd November
There's a strange high pitched ticking noise (loud enough to go through normal traffic/household noises) and it sounds like the ticking from a morse code machine. We think it's coming from the street light or the telephone pole. The council website doesn't have a noise report system for this kind of fault. It worsens in the poor weather and wind. It's been consistent for a number of hours tonight.

Multiple pot holes. Through to the road foundations, 3rd August
The road has deteriorated to such an extent that it is very nearly impassible on a motorcycle - and it is certainly dangerous to ride over on a non off road motorbike. Pot holes there since end of 2019 and getting worse daily.

Parking on a bend + unnecessary obstruction of the road, 17th March
During school hours of 15:00-15:40 drivers park on the bend of this road when coming from New Line, this causes an unnecessary obstruction of the road to drivers. This also causes a danger to all road users as they're unable to safely navigate this section of road due to the obstructions, frequently having to straddle the white lines in order to tackle a blind left hand bend when view obstructed by parked vehicles. This continues to be a prevelent issue that appears to only be getting worse.

56 inch x 14inch x 2+ inch pothole oaklands drive rawtenstall bb46sa, 14th January
This pothole has existed for over 4 months. it was "repaired" in 2019 but within weeks was back to its original state and has since become worse. it lies in the centre of the road in line with the tracking of vehicles offside tyres thus constantly in contact with them.. with the development of a new private housing estate (oaklands rise ) this part of oaklands drive has in particular been damaged with the literally hundreds of hgv's servicing the development indeed a section of the road surface, approx 9 feet x 4 feet, adjacent to this pothole has its surface badly eroded and in need of repair before it becomes a further hazard. the pothole and damaged surface are directly opposite no. 28 oaklands drive. look forward to your early response.
