Illegal and inconsiderate parking Rannoch Rise/Calverton Rd near Richard Bonington school, 9th June
Twice-a-day illegal and inconsiderate parking at Rannoch Rise / Calverton Road junction in Arnold, Nottingham. Happening at 8:35-9 am and 3:15-3:45 pm daily at school drop off and pick up by multiple drivers. They park not even 1m from the junction let alone the 10m required by law; they par straight across the junction, and few park bang on the pedestrian crossing. This poses a huge risk as it greatly reduced visibility and both pedestrians and drivers cannot use the junction as intended. I have to take my child much further up to cross safely. The school has issued a warning without effect. This has been an ongoing issue for many years. This needs addressing ASAP by the county with traffic wardens present daily for some time to send the message to inconsiderate drivers.
