Been here and getting worse for months, County came and repaired a small section of the road only a month or so ago, put signs up from arnold lane down to wollaton ave to say road closed, assumed the whole section would be done.... no only small portion near the bustop/newton road done. Shelford road from Arnold Lane down to Wollaton Avenue - absolute disgusting.

Overgrowing tree branches on tree outside No. 9 which are touching overhead BT cables., 23rd September
This particular tree is the largest on Steedman Avenue compared to other roadside trees. However other trees seem to be cut back on a regular basis whereas this one hardly ever has any branches cutback. One of the branches is growing to such an extent it overhangs on the opposite side of the road. The root of the base is causing the pavement to break up and families with pushchairs have to go on the road to get by. Bird droppings are a real nuisance as well causing large areas of droppings which is unhygienic especially where children pass by. This has been an ongoing problem for years and when on the few occasions that branches have been cut back it has hardly been noticeable.

White BMW parked on a blind bend, 6th September
The inconsiderate parking by this person, directly outside the property they were entering, means that the large double decker buses can barely get through and any cars travelling in the opposite direction are forced to reverse all the way up to Elm Grove which is extremely dangerous

Trampoline is full of sand, 29th August
Poor design to put it so close to the sand pit.
Could this please be emptied of sand? It's completely unusable like this. Its been this way for months. Surely there is some way of removing the top part to remove all the sand? Happy to empty it myself if someone can supply the keys or a way to remove the top part.

Bad parking almost caused my dad to crash!, 2nd July
During the school run on Somersby Road in Woodthorpe our road called Gresham Gardens always gets packed full of cars even right on the corners shown in this photo which was Friday Friday 1st 2022 causing blockages and we can't see when pulling out of the road which has caused a couple of very near crashes! We also have vulnerable people who live in this street from elderly to disabled and children which many occasions I need to get my children to walk with me onto the road because people who don't live on Gresham Gardens Park so close on the curb side we can't walk past. People have written before and nothing gets done about it it is literally going to cause a very fatal accident sooner or later and it needs preventing now! It's been going on for couple of years now and recently a new member on our street has paid to have a dropped curb outside his house to prevent people parking there and they STILL park on his dropped curb! This is ridiculous and some of my streets residents are needing to put there bins out onto the curb infront of there house to get access for when they need to leave the house on there mobility scooters etc. This is outrageous and something seriously needs doing.
Even a suggestion I could put forward would be to have some sort of double yellow lines down our street or symbols to only let parking be for those who live there and anyone else found parking there could get fined.We are a very small street but action needs taking before an elderly person or a disabled person or a child is struck by a vehicle.

Parking on Pavement obscuring vision, 3rd December
I have tried to complain about this before to no avail. I live off Dalton Drive and have to go out of the bottom onto Rolleston Drive in my car several times a day. Due to parked cars on the pavement on both sides of the road you are on a wing and a prey weather anything is coming when you pull out. You can look on the Web Cam outside Rolleston Drive shops to see how dangerous this is. Christ the King school children pick ups have the same problem at 3pm every afternoon. This is a accident waiting to happen.
