Close to East Glen, at bottom of hill travelling from Lenton towards Ingoldsby, and just before the brick bridge, 9th April
I recently reported this blockage to two drains under your report reference number 2801958. You replied that engineers had rodded the drains. However, I fear they have rodded drains set into the kerb of the road, rather than the two drains in question, which lie on the surface of the road adjacent to the kerb. They are now difficult to see because they are so badly silted up, as you can see from the images attached. They have been like this for many months. As I said earlier, the silt washes down and blocks the drains on a regular basis. They need regular cleaning.

Left of Centre of road at junction, 8th April
The road is also a footpath. This is a large wide pothole that has already thrown a little girl off of her scooter, injuring both her elbows. People walk and cycle up the road as a footpath and as a "safe" road. to clarify, it is the junction of Main St and Chapel lane. It has been present and getting worse for about a year. Now it is really bad.

Two roadside drains block each year owing to silt washed down from Lenton towards Ingoldsby. The silt has blocked two drains just before the brick bridge over the East Glen, before the water treatment plant. These drains have been blocked for several months.

Please will you contact the relevant utility to get this done urgently or advise me which utility and how to start the process. Thank you for all your help.
