Frinkley lane and Hough junction, 2nd April
You have a large pot hole here which is being caused by the culvert under the road collapsing You have a little while ago tarmacked over the collapsed culvert to smooth the road but the water now runs over the road causing erosion to road telephone cables exposed and the road to Honington is used as a river eroding its surface If you are not prepared to repair i feel i will have to do this myself with the farm diggers which i will do soon if no action taken Many thanks R Coney

Large new deep pothole approx 2ft long protruding into road about 1.5ft. Well over an inch deep with broken tarmac clumps on rim. Currently filled with water and therefore not visible to road users until too late. Motorists have started to swerve into other carriageway to avoid it. The street light is not working outside number 3 Church Green. The pathway is not lit by any other lighting and it pitch black at night. When the residents are returning home in the evening they cannot see the pathway to their home. If they were to drop their keys, they would not be able to see to find them again. Next to Honington Beck, 21st February
It appears someone has put a thick layer of sand down on the highway to traffic horses from one field to another along approximately 50 yards of the highway. It has been down all week which hasn’t been ideal but didn’t pose too much of a risk if traversed carefully. With the wet weather it has now become quite dangerous and also harmful to vehicles, fine wet sand washing into all mechanical parts. I appreciate sometimes dirt can be trafficked onto the road occasionally in rural areas but this is a deliberate heavy coating of fine sand.

4 Blocked Gullies on A604 adjacent Beechcroft Farm, 2nd January
Gulley blockage first reported November 2019 - reply received 19th. Feb 2020 - ref: WEST/RTHO/DP/NETW. asking for clarification - further details supplied 24th. November, 2020 Highway Office telephoned at almost monthly intervals and have been given various reference numbers and assurance that action would be taken. Since no response/action from Highways wrote to County Council 22 July 2022 - no response Survey carried out December 2022 - nothing else happened. Anything but the lightest rain floods the road and with 4 of the gullies blocked the water floods the road and traffic throws the water onto our house. Consider that after 4 years this problem should be resolved.
