O/S no. 10 Adamstiles, 19th April
Caller states that road was being resurfaced with top layer yesterday. Due to an illness of a resident across the way and ambulance had to get to, the tarmac did not set and was torn up by the ambulance. Caller states road is now at back at the bottom layer and loose tarmac everywhere. Concerned this will ruin his driveway.

It’s a massive pothole on a corner so not easy to see until you’ve hit it which is what happened to me. I heard the bang and then my tyre pressure started dropping quickly.

Grange Paddock Barrowby Grantham, 2nd April
Pothole filling and edge of the road "repairs" were carried out today. Unfortunately the finishing is not good with many holes/road edging not properly filled in. The road should have been partly closed to allow the tar to harden. We now have tyre tracks out side our property (No1).

A tree on our road was removed this last week as it had a split branch. I was talking to the chap who took out the trunk yesterday (nice chap) about the potential for me to purchase a tree to put there and also some for 2 other areas of grass (photos indicate the 2 bits of grass with no trees, and a photo of the tree that was cut down this week). He said it was worth contacting you but felt it would be possible. These would be species of medium sized trees in keeping with the others in Barrowby, so ones with a maximum height of roughly 30-40 foot and similar spread. Would I be permitted to do this if I purchase the trees myself? Or would I have to purchase the trees but then have someone from the council actively plant them?
