Along the length of this road there are multiple deep holes at edge of tarmac, 10th April
The road is narrow along this stretch. There are no nearside white lines, and along the entire length are many deep holes which are damaging to nearside car wheel. When oncoming vehicle is a van or lorry, car drivers have no option but to risk wheel damage whilst these deep holes are unfilled. Holes need filling, white lines needed at edge and triangular road signs should be installed to alert road users to narrow carriageway which has no Give Way provision...

On Stapleford Lane when driving from Newark to Stapleford, 20th December
A tall silver birch has been blown over/uprooted, and as it fell it has lodged onto another tree, so that it is overhanging the road at height. Currently a risk to higher vehicles such as lorries. But over the last couple of days it has slipped lower and lower, so could eventually become a blockage to cars. Needs to have the overhang chainsawed back, will need ladders etc or work from back of a pick-up.
