Outside Minden House, Long Street, Foston, NG32 2LD, 11th April
What appears to be an Access Protection Marking (H shaped white line) has been provided on the highway across the width of the building Minden House. Use of these are markings should be reserved for protecting the driveway access to a property, which in this case it most certainly does not. This Access Protection Marking should therefore be removed. This marking has been in place for a little over one week.

Directly outside The Reindeer Public House, 25th March
There are incidents of inconsiderate parking where the footpath is blocked by parked vehicles across the footpath. This causes obstructions for pedestrians. The footpath isn't properly defined in front of the pub and Long Bennington Parish Council would request that some white lines are painted to define the path and this will hopefully result in deterring inconsiderate parking and its subsequent risks for pedestrians.

There is a dropped kerb, allowing wheelchair and mobility scooter access for residents. Unfortunately, this is frequently blocked by inconsiderate parking. As such Long Bennington Parish Council would like to request that a white line is painted on the road to help prevent parking across the dropped kerb.
