Dangerous parking on Farnsfield Main Street opposite The Ridgeway, 4th January
As a resident of Farnsfield I have to cope every day with vehicles parking along one side of Farnsfield Main street opposite the end of The Ridgeway. The vehicles are being parked by people going into the Woodbury Cafe. For example this morning I was faced with 6 or 7 cars parked on the Cafe side of the road ( some being parked on the pavement!) causing length delays of traffic coming both ways through the village. In the past I have, on three occasions when driving into the village from Edingley, I have almost had a "head-on crash" with other vehicles turning left out of the Ridgeway! I was told well over a year ago that there were plans to put double Yellow Lines at the junction but this has not happened ..... WHY???? Something needs to be done ASAP before somebody is hurt.

Dangerous Parking on Double Yellow Lines, 2nd June
The Junction of Tippings Lane and Main Street is now becoming a very dangerous junction to pull out of due to vehicles illegally parking on double yellow lines.
It is an accident waiting to happen and I fear will result in injuries or even worse; fatalities.
Enforcement action is required .

I cannot get access to my home due to traffic parking across from my gates, 7th November
Our entrance to our property is opposite the village hall. When vehicles choose to park there it makes entering and leaving our property very difficult and occasionally impossible! We need double yellow lines in front of the village hall. We cannot even have our furniture delivered as no guarantee of entry to our our property if a vehicle is parked opposite!

Large Potholes around 3ft on bend, 25th May
Large potholes on the bend of a 50 mph country road. The road is too busy and dangerous to stop and take pictures as they are located on a bend. They have been there around 3 months. They range from 1ft wide to around 3 ft wide. The are approx 3-4 inch deep. Located on the corner between the two turn offs for Bilshtorpe on the A617.

Dangerous potholes in road and located on bend, 8th January
Dangerous potholes located across road and located on bend. Road has deteriorated in the past 2 months. It is now at a dangerous level as traffic are now being forced to drive onto the wrong side of the road, to avoid the potholes due to the possibility of damage to vehicle caused by the potholes and loss of steering control. As these potholes are located on the bend, it makes this even more hazardous as oncoming traffic will not be aware and a collision is inevitable.

Overflowing litter bins and litter along roadsides., 6th April
Large numbers of visitors to White Post Farm have left the litter bins at the bus stops on both sides of the road overflowing leaving litter along both pavements and along the road. At the Mansfield / Nottingham bound bus stop there is a large amount of litter either side of the pub driveway.
