Potholes have reformed where previous patches have broken out again. Carriageway is littered with debris and a hazard to road users. About half of Baulk Lane has no footpath and the road surface is a disgrace to the Authority, and a hazard to pedestrians.

Extensive potholes along whole of Baulk Lane, 21st March
Potholes previously 'repaired' have reformed and new potholes have appeared. Large areas of surfacing sound hollow when tapped with a hammer, indicating a de-laminated surface-course. The HGV farm vehicles soon cause further break up of the surfacing. The gravel debris is a further hazard. The whole road from the Ossington Road junction requires planing off and re-surfacing urgently.

Street Light not working (on outside of bend on A616)., 2nd February
Noticed street light is off at 6am (still dark then). Light is on outside of bend, so is important in warning drivers of the sharp turn in the road.

Water flowing across road making dangerous, 24th February
Since the cold weather a few weeks ago, there has been a constant flow of water over this junction which often freezes making driving conditions dangerous. It is not clear if the leak is from a water main or from the lake on the nearly farm.
