Healthy Horse chestnut trees being cut down, 24th August
These 2 healthy horse chestnut trees on Hall Lane Brinsley are set to be cut down . They are in the the conservation area of Brinsley and are part of the unique area . The Borough Councillor Elizabeth Williamson as stated that no objections went in to notts county Council... when clearly the objections were to broxtowe council... the Parish councillors unanimously objected to these trees being cut down... she also said that the trees are on private land ... public or private these trees are over 100yrs old and I as a parish councillor and the residents of hall lane , stoney Lane and church walk would like to have tree preservation order on these trees .. please take on board the feelings of the residents of the village as we have lost part of our greenbelt to housing development.

Car parks on the corner, 3rd April
Car parks regularly on the corner of hall lane, making it difficult to exit onto the A608. Multiple cars have had to take measures to avoid hitting it. This is w regular occurance and has been happening for well over a year. I fear a child will be hit when exiting the cafe or someone turning left hitting the car.

Caravan parked blocking the pavement on Fairview Avenue, Underwood., 28th October
This caravan has been parked there for a while now and is often left on Fairview Avenue. The pavement is blocked so you cannot use it and have to go on to the road. It is near the local school and will make it very dangerous for people walking their kids to school next week. Also there is a white Transit van which parks on the end of the junction of Fairview Av, and Primrose outside the 1st bungalow but right on top of the junction causing a problem for anyone turning left out of Primrose Ave. This is owned by a family who live on the opposite side of the road on Fairview ( a few doors down)
