Tree next to lamppost, 21st March
Tree overgrown was told the council were going to maintain it due to damages to property and telephone lines now it’s pulled the phone line from the house and the tree is getting bigger each year the elderly gentleman that’s closest to the tree refuses to help maintain . Come spring when the leaves bloom it blocks the street light aswell . As nice as some trees are this one is not protected and it’s a nuisance needs chopping down also effects light into property

Abandoned Car at Bourne Drive, 15th November
Silver vauxhall corsa which has been in a crash seems to have been abandoned on Bourne drive at one of the housing estates public car parks. Been there for over a month and has been parked taking up two spaces.

Bin not emptied rubbish littering street, 2nd October
Neighbours bin put at side of house several weeks ago. Hasn't been emptied as incorrect bin used at some point for general rubbish. Bin bags have now also been put with it. Bin overflowing and bags open..general waste now over the street . Not only unsightly but encourging rats etc.

Van abandoned on Ormonde Terrace/Street preventing emergency vehicle access, 13th September
Vehicle has been here for approx 3 weeks, it is on a ramp. Situated next to the fence of No. 53 but does not belong there. It is preventing bin lorry from getting to Ormonde Terrace and Street and access for emergency vehicles is limited.

Significant litter on the first 300 yards of Dovecote Road, 12th September
Hello, I really hope you can help me There is significant and increasing litter on the first 300 yards of Dovecote Road, that seems to be plastic and food wrapper waste. My partner and i have been doing (unofficial) weekly litter picking to try and improve our community but what i think would really help is if we had a litter bin on the pavement around this area so people can responsibility dispose of their waste. ANy help and assistance would be massively appreciated and i really do think this would be a benefit to the council, the environment and the local neighbours . Thank you

Healthy Horse chestnut trees being cut down, 24th August
These 2 healthy horse chestnut trees on Hall Lane Brinsley are set to be cut down . They are in the the conservation area of Brinsley and are part of the unique area . The Borough Councillor Elizabeth Williamson as stated that no objections went in to notts county Council... when clearly the objections were to broxtowe council... the Parish councillors unanimously objected to these trees being cut down... she also said that the trees are on private land ... public or private these trees are over 100yrs old and I as a parish councillor and the residents of hall lane , stoney Lane and church walk would like to have tree preservation order on these trees .. please take on board the feelings of the residents of the village as we have lost part of our greenbelt to housing development.

Fly tipping on Anchor Road Langley Mill, 9th August
6x televisions and a bag containing a lot of plastic bottles. The bottles seem to have an unknown liquid in them, possibly urine.

Tree now totally obscuring streetlight and branches bending down over pavement at head height, 23rd July
I reported this ages ago when the only issue was it was starting to obscure the street light. Nothing has been done and now the street light is totally obscured. The road at that point is now very dark at night and the branches are now starting to hang down over the pavement at head height. Something seriously needs doing as this is just going to get worse and it will be repeated every year as last year the owner just gave it a trim around the light!

Abandoned vandalised vehicle, 11th July
Abandoned vandalised vehicle, previously reported. This is a danger to the public. Children have been seen sitting in this vehicle, if they release the handbrake, it will roll downhill onto Cromford Road with possibly severe results. This vehicle is dangerous. It has broken windows and heavily damaged body panels.
