When is this section of the road actually going to be re surfaced… NOTHING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is being done EVERYDAY by workers standing/walking around , no machinery just hundreds of cones lining the route and traffic crawling through as instructed….( And yes people are getting speeding fines (42mph!) and above ) how can this be allowed to happen… everyday…. NO ACTUAL PHYSICAL WORK IS BEING DONE AT ALL EVERYDAY….this road still has pot holes and large ridge bumps debris at the barriers .. NOTHING IS BEING DONE AT ALL ……WHY WHY

Massive hole in the concrete, 12th March
There is a massive hole on the single lane 40mph north bound just about half a mile before the Nottingham round about No way of avoiding it ! As single narrow lane The road is a total disgrace!! Luckily I was in a 4x4 but I’m sure it would cause extreme damage if not This needs doing as a matter of urgency

Tree Preservation Order Appllication, 20th February
In front of West Mews there are three silver birch trees which were obviously planted as a screen for the car parking area. This is communal property. Some residents from the Park have complained that sap from the the trees, when they are parked underneath them, is making their cars look unsightly and leaving them covered in a sticky substance. There is adequate parking all over the Park, in particular to the rear of West Mews that can be used as an alternative. It seems so unjust to destroy three healthy and very attractive trees for such a selfish and "environmentally unfriendly"reason.

There are a number of bin bags, possibly 10, some in the ditch and some on the grass verge. At the junction of Thurlby Lane and Station Road, on the Station Road side.

Growth of the plants blocked view to join the a46 slip road, 12th July
The over brown plants/bushes is making it very dangerous to join the a46 via the slip road as it is obstructing the view.
You cannot see oncoming vehicles until you get right to the end of the slip road. This has grown since the last two months.

The Condition of this road is poor, 9th April
I have used the A46 for over 15 years to commute to Lincoln and back. The surface condition of the road is uneven and has many potholes. There have been repairs over the years but both carriage ways require resurfacing from Willoughby on the Worlds to the Melton A606 exit.

Large ditch in the gap to cross the A46, 15th January
The gap in the carriageway to drive across the A46 has eroded away. This is used by Waring Waste and the houses that are opposite it. This is a puddle most of the time and has caused courier drivers who are not familiar with the road to drive into it and get punctures, it needs to be filled in please.

Large horizontal crack and pothole between the dirt road from Larke Rise to the roundabout, 15th January
There is long horizontal crack and a pothole in the middle of the road which has been there for about 3 months and needs to be fixed

Faded destination distance sign, A46., 23rd August
The destination distance sign on the southbound A46 carriageway is very worn, has lost its reflectivity and several letters have worn off. It gives mileage to Leicester (15) and Coventry (39). Located on the southbound A46, just south of the A606 junction.

Plastic kerbs are buckled on Main Street Widmerpool. Not fit for purpose causing trip hazard particularly in the dark, 15th June
Plastic kerbstones have been fitted and they have all badly buckled causing unevenness and potential trip hazard to the pavement area which, with restricted pavement width and narrow road, causes cars and pedestrians to be close to each other allowing no room for a safety margin.

4 Large fridge / freezers, 30th October
Again more fridge freezers tipped. This was yesterday the 29th October at about 3 pm when I spotted them. I realise they may have been picked up by now. Very annoying. They are on the South side of the road, not far from the rail bridge on Station Road..

Deep potholes (Northbound), 6th March
There are a few deep potholes along the northbound section of the A46. They are pretty unavoidable and make an awful noise when you run over them. This is an accident waiting to happen

Man hole cover missing, 30th March
This manhole cover went missing a while ago, it has probably been stolen for scrap metal. The hole left is quite deep, someone could be seriously injured if fell in. Its located on the North side of the road, shortly after the houses at the cross roads, as the road rises, if going towards the A606 on left side. I cycle so its easy to see.
