Disintegration of road surface due to surface water, 25th April

Sun, 25 Apr 2021 17:05:29 +0100
52.851932 -1.115134

This road has steadily deteriorated over a number of years due to surface rain washing away the surface. We’re all now extremely nervous when descending on our bikes as the gradient is steep and you simply can’t see where any potholes and ridges are. We easily top 30-40mph going down this stretch and it’s now terrifying. This is an accident waiting to happen, it’s a route heavily used by cyclists but you really are taking your life in your hands going down this hill now. All it would take is for someone to hit a hole and fall off at the same time as a car coming up the hill and we will have a fatality. Please inspect this road ASAP Thank you
