FIXMYSTREET IN NR32 1QE
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of NR32 1QE:
Uneven surface, 26th April
The road surface is subsiding and breaking up. Not significant to look at, but HGVs carrying offshore shipping containers rattle and bang over this area including a couple of manhole covers at the Gunton Church Lane junction. The containers sound like a bomb going off! Which may sound an exaggeration, but when you live alongside the A47 is extremely upsetting. At night it can be a real headache. PLEASE PLEASE do something about it on a permanent basis. It has been patched several times but only lasts a few days. Do it properly and save money

Damaged sign post obstructing footway, 15th April
At the top of the Ravine for traffic coming from North parade there is a luminated sign post containing a 606 Arrow sign and 'one way' sup plate that has been hit and is now leaning across the footway. The post now moves quiet easily in its concrete foundation and the lamp itself also looks to be damaged. Suffolk highways sign post reference number is A124.

Collapsed ironwork, 7th April
Just before the traffic lights heading towards the bridge there is a collapsed drain? cover. It can’t be avoided and my car went over it with a massive bang.

More fly tipping, 7th April
After my precious report about fly tipping (which has not been dealt with) we now have a trampoline and a wooden cabinet dumped in the access road from Bruce Street to Payne Street.
Please can something be done about the persistent fly tipping in this area, normal residents who care about where they live are getting really fed up with the people who constantly dump their crap knowing that people like me report it and it gets removed.

More flytipping on Salisbury Road, 4th April
As usual, a redisent has left non recyclables by their blue bin which has been left for the gulls to pull the bags open and the rubbish is making its way down Salisbury Road.
Pleas can something finally be done about the perpetrator, residents are fed up of this happening week on week, and clearing up the rubbish as it gets blown up the road.

Pothole, 3rd April
Inspection or drain cover a few meters prior to the traffic lights heading South, which is directly in line with nearside wheels of vehicles. The cover is broken and sunk, I estimate the depth is now 10 cm which results in a real solid bang as the wheel hits the hole and suspension bottoms out. The cover is close to complete collapse therefore may I suggest a proper and professional repair, and not the short term efforts of other repairs I've reported, which are now worse after 6 months :(

Fly tipping in the access road, 27th March
In the access road at the back of John Street on Bruce Street No42 have put both bins out. You can see that there is non recycling in the blue bin, no doubt that won’t be collected and the rub is will just be left there along with the abandoned duvet.

More flytipping, 27th March
So after the last incident fly tipping was removed, we now have another load of bags left out just waiting for the gulls to rip the bags open. It’s not even recycling.
Please can something be done about this, it is disgusting for the residents who care about where they live.
