As you enter Priory road there are 6 bins on the grounds on the 2nd house on left. they look awful. They should be tucked away neatly like we all do. Its a matter of caring for your street and community spirit in ensuring we all do our bit to make the street look nice. Its an eyesore.

Pot holes, 17th March

52.537051 1.625606

NR319AD Junction beccles Road A143 AND Herringfleet Road B1074 there now 5 potholes since the last repair. This is dangerous. Someone will get seriously hurt or even killed. The amount of traffic and the extreme size of the vehicles is adding to this problem. Anyone on a motorcycle does not stand a chance if they hit any of these holes.

Broken manhole cover, 21st December

Fri, 21 Dec 2018 09:22:02 +0000
52.541912 1.637199

This sewer manhole was fixed in 2017, this was fine for about three months however it has now sunk to such a degree that it is even noisier than before, jumping up when large trucks drive over it. It has now broken in two and I would say it is not only noisy but also a danger to the traffic passing over, should it finally collapse into the sewer. Could someone look at this please?

Road side drain cover missing on exit from Fritton before entrance to redwings caldecotte, 22nd November

Thu, 22 Nov 2018 16:54:35 +0000
52.546438 1.64693

Cover missing from a drain at road side. First drain on left hand side when leaving fritton towards yarmouth. Noticed last night almost caused incident as I had to swerve to avoid a crash. Fortunately the car passing me had given me ample space and so I didn't swerve into the vehicles path. Only noticed last night. I would appreciate this being repaired quickly as it would not only do serious damage to a cyclist but if a car were to go too close it could cause serious damage to their vehicle or even themselves. Thank you.

52.534787 1.616516

This is the bridge that broke my coil spring and blew a tire, wrecked rim. There's a nasty invisible hump/dip (not a hole) at the foot of this bridge, St Olaves side. The garage bill + call out fee came to £500

Pothole, 15th April

Sun, 15 Apr 2018 10:28:49 +0100
52.537238 1.621666

It's not a pothole as such, but there's something wrong with the road surface, there's a significant lump at the St Olaves side, the foot of the bridge, which you can observe, esp. when trailers hit it hard. SUVs won't notice the hump, but for smaller cars its catastrophic. On Jan 1st we hit that invisible hump hard, which broke our coil spring and a few miles later, near Loddon, caused a tire blow out at 60mph. We could have died if we'd hit another vehicle. This Haddiscoe bridge should not be 50mph, it needs immediately to be reduced to 30mph until the defect (lump on the St Olaves side) is fixed.

We own what was a successful B&B until your new road surface arrived. Now this constant bang bang wakes up our guests. They are paying for a nights sleep ( I cant ask them to wear ear plugs). You tried once to fix it now it is even worse. Please, befor we go bust, fix this problem.

52.523247 1.642766

This large pothole is on the B1074, Herringfleet Road. It is on a blind corner and fills with water, so that it is difficult to avoid. Many vehicles have already left the road at this point making it deeper and wider. It ruined my car tyre.

Trespass with vandalism, 13th February

Mon, 13 Feb 2012 10:10:04 +0000
52.529742144637 1.6270976171422

We have a natural pond at the bottom of our garden, 30 yards from the fence and boundary. It is not visible from the house but we visit it daily. On Saturday 11th February 2012 it was frozen. We discovered very large logs had been thrown on to the ice (presumably to break it). We also discovered a sock on the ice close to a place where the ice was broken (presumably someone had stepped on the ice and broken it and got a wet foot). We checked at the fence and there were fresh muddy footmarks on it (presumably the entry point). We will need to pay someone to fish the logs out of the pond. If that was the end of it, we would not bother to report it. But we are anxious about precedent and escalation.
