Path overgrown and invisible, 25th November
Kelling FP 14. The part indicated by the pointer. With reference to the route as mapped on the Norfolk Highways Map. The correct route appears to be overgrown, on account of long neglect of maintenance. Clearance needed. Signage of the correct route is also needed, as per the Norfolk County Council's duty under the Countryside Act 1968 Section 27(4).

Kelling RB 4. Across the Heath. Overgrown in places by overgrown side and overhanging vegetation. Norfolk County Council needs to be keeping this in check, to make sure that all legitimate categories of user can pass along at all times.

Byway overgrown, 24th November
Kelling RB 4. The northern section ie between the Heath and A149 road. In a number of places, encroachment by overgrown vegetation from the side and overhanging has reduced the byway down to a narrow/ low tunnel. It isn't possible to ride a horse along here, without taking avoiding action, let alone anything else such as (non motorised) vehicle.
Message to Norfolk County Council: Please start maintaining this route as a byway, rather than as a mere footpath.

Path poorly signed, at busy junction., 11th May
Weybourne FP1, east end, where it leaves the often heavily trafficked Sandy Hill Lane. The only signage for the path is a very obscurely placed tack sign, attached to an electricity pole. Moreover, this points through a locked gate and appears to be wrongly located. The writer recently encountered a group of persons unfamiliar with the locality on the Sandy Hill Lane, at this location, who were uncertain as to the existence or whereabouts of the public path. The Norfolk County Council should erect a proper, free-standing finger-post here.
