No one can see the instructions on the speed sign, 3rd July
A privately owned hedge is not being cleared and cut away from a speed sign. Has been getting worse over the last 3 years or so. The hedge has now claimed the sign and appears to be devouring it . Almost got to the point now where the pole itself is disappearing. The writing in the sign itself can no longer be seen. Not even when you are in foot , standing in front of it . Not a chance you are driving. Please can this be dealt with asap ? Thank you.

Speed limit sign obscured by hedge, 2nd July
The speed limit sign has slowly been engulfed by the hedge, to the point it is now no longer visible to oncoming traffic.

Manhole gushing water, 24th February
For several years now this manhole has continually spewed copious amounts of water, which flows down the street creating a hazard.

Very deep pothole, 21st August
As per photos the hole is approximately 6inches deep and it looks like a small sink hole.

Speed sign obstructed, 29th May
The building development has included the road sign inside of their boundary fencing. No longer visible to oncoming traffic. This fencing has been erected for about 3 months now.

Inadequately repaired post hole, 30th April
This post was recently replaced after the previous one was knocked over. The repair to the road surface is incomplete, leaving loose material to either side. This will rapidly become a large hole, creating a hazard for pedestrians and undermining the new post. The road surface needs to be FULLY repaired.

Post knocked over, 23rd March
Post knocked over on the road. This is a hazard to vehicles and pedestrians as it could cause a vehicle to swerve as it’s not that visible especially at night as there are no streetlights.

Water overflow from drain cover that cannot be repositioned and is causing a hazard, 3rd January
This is an ongoing issue for many years. The farmer further up the street opens a grate when he has to much water on his land and all his overflow and debris blocks the drain. Highways came out twice last year to remove some debris that works for a while then it happens again all the way through the winter months. The mains water pipe has been replaced with a smaller one inside the old pipe. The excess water is now impacting badly on the surrounding road surface and the cover is presently in a dangerous position for walkers and drivers. The cover is at the start of the drive up to The Beeches.

A number of cans dumped in lay by possibly hazardous industrial chemicals or paint some over spilling. Urgent case as contents could be harmful. Cans not marked.
