Huge amounts of litter on side of road, 20th March
Hi this has been a problem for ages now and the amount of litter along the carriageway from dereham to swaffham is an eye sore. You recently have been cutting back the hedges which shows even more litter. We have a community litter picking group that really wants to tackle this problem and wondered if with a team from yourself a can have a go at clearing it

Litter along the highway, 14th September
Terrible litter issue from Dereham to Swaffham, lay-bys full of litter, verges full of litter. It’s a terrible ongoing issue and I am always out in the community conducting litter picks, this is without saying something I can’t do myself due to safety.

18 inch pothole on Chapel Lane outside Osier Cottage, 10th February

Road surface has sunk over drain that runs across the road, 16th December
There is a drain that runs under the carriageway from Jessopp Close to the other side of Dereham Road that has sunk. This means that large vehicles, particularly if they are empty and those with trailers, to create quite a loud noise when they pass over the depression. This we can hear whilst in bed at night, thereby disturbing our sleep. One half has been attempted to be repaired but because the surface is not flush still creates a lot of disturbance when vehicles pass over

Cars parked on pavement outside my driveway making difficult to get out, 13th July
Having trouble getting car out Of my driveway and impossible to get my caravan out also bin lorrys and delivery vans have issues coming around the corner and have to mount the kerb . No room for pedestrians to walk on pavement.

Conifers hedge over grow, 14th September
Conifer hedge at the black horse (old pub) is much to over grow on the public path as in are coming out of the junction of chapel lane you cannot see what is coming to your left as the conifer hedge is to wide and I had to come out of the junction to see what traffic is coming from dereham and nearly got hit by a car coming from the right ( wendling way) I was so up set by it I had a panic attack, I think the hedge should be cut down or cutback by 2 foot, so you can see visible the cars are coming from dereham with out pulling out in the road to see, why has this not been taking on with highways as it a accident waiting to happen, thank god it was not me on that occasion ??

Poor resurfacing on Dereham Road Scarning, 28th February
Since the road was resurfaced a few months ago much of the surface gravel has not adhered well and is being thrown across the pavement. I walk along this path from the school into Dereham and see that the gravel is being thrown right across the path int the verge. I see that parts of the roadway have lost the surface altogether. I feel that the work done though impressive was not up to the standard that should be expected. The contractor should be required to remedy the situation.
