Lack of road markings and signage, 12th August
Heading towards A140 roundabout from A47 in southerly direction there is first a turn off A47 for P&R sign and then another sign which just shows Norwich left Ipswich right. No further mention of park and ride until you are on the roundabout where is written on left lane tarmac. How are you supposed to know which lane to be in in advance?
Going straight on or right is also problematic. There are no signs on the tarmac indicating which lane to go in. If going to Norwich or Yarmouth which lane do I go in on approach? If I choose the left lane this appears to just go into the park and ride - see hatchings on road. Indeed if coming from Ipswich this lane is clearly marked "park and ride only" on the road. So can I go straight on or not in this left lane when coming off A47? Basically there's 2 slip lanes and 3 roundabout lanes and no indication of where you're supposed to go. Just a confusing mess. Please improve the road sign to include park and ride and paint the slip lane tarmac clearly indicating which lanes to use for which direction like the cringleford roundabout (this is done further round the roundabout here but not where you join here). I also think the roundabout should have dashed lines indicating which lanes you're allowed to move into as you join it like most of these big roundabouts have.

Markshall Lane Signage (closure to A140), 30th June
Can you please provide an update regarding the closure of the A140 off Markshall Lane and the signage confirming the road is closed. At our recent parish council meeting we had received concerns from parishioners who live off Mill Road where commercial vehicles are using this road as a detour due to Markshall Lane signage. Mill Road is significantly small with a little bridge next to the Mill restaurant that only allows one car to pass at a time. As you can imagine with commercial vehicles using this road it is causing chaos.
We would appreciate any help in regards to this matter.
