Public path fenced off & made narrow (Happisburgh FP 15), 25th February
Please refer to the annotated photographs (taken om 24.02.24), showing relevant measurements. The field-edge path here has been fenced off, whereas historic mapping at https://maps.nls.uk/view/120848576 is indicative of a path unfenced on its north side, and of a greater width than that which is currently physically available on account of the fencing. Norfolk County Council, have the occupiers of the land sought relevant advice from your Highway Boundary Team before erecting the fence? Have you yourselves even carried out any relevant research to determine the legal width of the path, here?

Sigange needed (Easr Ruston RB 25), 28th July
At grid ref: TG 3541 3010 the byway leaves an established track, and becomes invisible as it changed direction to cross a cropped field. There is a very clear need for signage, to assist persons unfamiliar with the locality to follow the route of the way. Clear signage would also help to convey to the occupier of the land, that the public byway exists, and where it runs.

Signage STILL misleading! (East Ruston RB 25), 28th July
Reporting further to https://www.fixmystreet.com/report/4505463 There's been an alteration to the sugnage, since the previous report (compare the photos)... but it's still completely misleading, as regards RB 25. Norfolk County Council, what's going on, here? You've got both a byway waymarker and a bridleway waymarker both pointing eastwards. East Ruston RB 25 turns to run northwards, here, but your signage makes it look as though it doesn't. Misleading signage is totally unacceptable - let along when it has been installed by the highway authority!
