Public path too narrow (Bacton FP 1), 29th January
See the annotated photos! The physically available path is very narrow - down to as little as 1ft. 10 in. in width, in parts. Norfolk County Council, you need to define the legal width of the path, and to ensure that that full legal width gets made and kept physially available.

Destination required (Witton Fp 16), 2nd January
The signpost for this path, where it leaves teh U19092 road, needs information on it as to where the path leads. Clearly, the path leads to St, Peter's Church, and it would be undoubtedly convenient and appropriate for that information to be included on the signpost, as per the specific requirement of s.27(2)(b) Countryside Act 1968.

AGAIN no signage! (Witton FP 4), 2nd January
YET AGAIN no signage, where Witton FP 4 leaves the metalled U19092 road. Just the remains of a flimsy wooden signpost. Norfolk County Council, see https://www.fixmystreet.com/report/1334775 and https://www.fixmystreet.com/report/1918269. Clearly, by continuing to place flimsy wooden signposts here you are wasting public money. You need to be sensible and place a much more robust solution here.

Byway staggered? (Honing RB 21), 2nd January
The only physically available route is staggered, where it crosses a track, as illustrated by the red line superimposed onto the photo. Whereas the highway line on https://maps.norfolk.gov.uk/highways/ is straight. Unless the map is wrong, then the correct route of the byway needs to be properly identified and opened up on the ground.

Sigange needed (Easr Ruston RB 25), 28th July
At grid ref: TG 3541 3010 the byway leaves an established track, and becomes invisible as it changed direction to cross a cropped field. There is a very clear need for signage, to assist persons unfamiliar with the locality to follow the route of the way. Clear signage would also help to convey to the occupier of the land, that the public byway exists, and where it runs.

Public carriageway cropped! (East Ruston RB 25), 28th July
Byway submerged beneath growing crops! Norfolk County Council, as highway authority, you need to ensure that the occupier of the land realises that the byway needs to be kept permanently undisturbed. He needs to remove the crop and fully restore the carriageway surface.

Signage STILL misleading! (East Ruston RB 25), 28th July
Reporting further to https://www.fixmystreet.com/report/4505463 There's been an alteration to the sugnage, since the previous report (compare the photos)... but it's still completely misleading, as regards RB 25. Norfolk County Council, what's going on, here? You've got both a byway waymarker and a bridleway waymarker both pointing eastwards. East Ruston RB 25 turns to run northwards, here, but your signage makes it look as though it doesn't. Misleading signage is totally unacceptable - let along when it has been installed by the highway authority!
