The storm drain here has been blocked since Christmas despite at least three separate reports to the council. Schoolchildren, pensioners and indeed all pedestrians are forced to walk through several inches of filthy water as therenis no pavement or suitable alternative route. Every time it rains the road floods again, and we live in the UK so that is a frequent occourance!

Pothole has been there for some time, a resident is permanently parked opposite it forcing all traffic to drive over the pothole

A notice has illegally been affixed to Norfolk County Council signage, declaring that "Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times", whereas there is absolutely no such requirement, unless an official byelaw is in force to that effect,

Footpath compromised, 17th March

Road flooded for several days now, 21st January
The road has been flooded since at least Tuesday. It's not safe for small vehicles to attempt going through the floodwater. At the same time the other end of Aldborough Road, in Calthorpe, has been closed due to roadworks. We have been essentially trapped here for days. The part of Aldborough Road near Rectory Farm regularly floods badly and needs drainage cutting in.

Signpost fallen over, and no destinations (Aldborough FP 9/BR 13), 22nd February
Wooden signpost fallen over. The damaged signpost does not include any information about where the paths lead to, as required by Section 27(2)(b) of the Countryside Act 1968. Norfolk County Council,why has no information about destinations been included on this signpost, please?

Is this a public right of way or private?, 19th August
It has been overgrown for many years and is a safer walking route between Sustead and Melton and would benefit the parish if it was cleared. If it is private I would like to approach the landowner to see if agreement could be obtained.

Broken Stile (Hanworth FP 2), 3rd May
Stile on path is in poor state of repair. See photographs. Stile apparently erected by the Norfolk County Council. Although a stile is recorded on the definitive map and statement, its substitution by a less restrictive option would secure a continuation of stile-free public paths here.

Illegal path diversion? (Sustead FP 10), 3rd May
Between the grid references TG 1967 3653 and TG 1971 3627 the path (as depicted on the Norfolk County Council map at http://maps.norfolk.gov.uk/highways ), both in terms of what is apparent on the ground and what has been signposted by the Norfolk County Council (as a "Norfolk Trail"), has effectively been diverted onto a completely different line running to the east.
The mapped (correct) path line is substantially obstructed.
The signposted diversion is itself subject to a stile in a poor state of repair (no limitations are recorded on the definitive line) and overhanging vegetation. The photographs all show the signposted diversion.
Message to Norfolk County Council: How has it come about that you, as the highway authority, have signposted the wrong path line? Why have you failed to signpost, and assert and protect, the correct line? What are you going to do to put things right here, and when?

Inadequate signage, 28th August
Where Alby with Thwaite FP 3 leaves the metalled road (Manor Farm Road):
The waymark post has been attached to a utility pole, hiding the roundels. Consequently, there is not visible signpost for FP3 visible, particularly to anybody approaching from the north.
Surely, conventional "finger" signposts ought to be getting employed here, to signpost this path where it leaves a metalled road?
