Blocked drains, 20th October
This morning a property on Cherry Tree Road was flooded due to the highway drains not being able to deal effectively with the volume of water. As well as the normal drains, there is a silt drain just within the driveway of number 1 Cherry Tree Road that has not been cleared in 8 years that I am aware of. To avoid a repetition these drains require regular cleaning as this is the lowest spot for some distance.
