Unauthorised road signs, 23rd March

Sat, 23 Mar 2024 01:30:20 +0000
52.727585 1.272689

Many unauthorised road signs on the road showing 40mph when the speed limit is 50mph. Also further down the road towards Aylsham where the speed limit is 60mph fake signs showing 40mph. This is dangerous, confusing many drivers which slamming on their breaks for no reason. Police and Council people are driving daily on this road, seeing the fake signs, but do nothing to remove them. Unauthorised signs appear for first time about couple of years before and multiple since then. Today I saw at least 20 of them. Please remove them as it's matter of time accident to happen.

Dangerous Unauthorised Road Signs, 16th March

Sat, 16 Mar 2024 09:04:25 +0000
52.714186 1.277492

There is a campaign for a 40mph limit in the current 50mph zone. Campaigners have put up numerous fake 40mph signs that constantly trip/interfere with my car’s safety systems, causing it to brake hard every time it sees one of their signs and accelerate again when a genuine sign is passed. I have to turn off the safety systems, including pedestrian protection, to drive safely.

Driveway floods when it rains., 20th November

Sun, 20 Nov 2022 22:45:07 +0000
52.719487 1.275675

When raining, the water leaves the main A140, crossing the footpath in front of the Royal Mail postbox and entering the driveway at 31, Cromer Road, Hainford. This causes the driveway to flood quite severely. Traffic regularly drives on the path to use the postbox and over the years this, as well as the road surface building up has lead to an easy route for the water to enter at 31.

'There are two aged Oak trees that have a very heavy growth of Ivy which is contributing to the death of the tree. The one nearest to Fairholme Road has several dead branches and every time we have a storm large pieces of dead tree are blown down on to the road and path below. I am very concerned for the safely of the public and the damage that may occur to the public transport (scooter, bike, bus, car etc) Surely it would be a good idea to cut the Ivy at the base and prevent loss of the trees and prevent danger.ra t, 29th August
